ALL 4 projects on a page

Ok so pictures of three but we all know the 4th is the red and gold tudor dress. The Red and cReam cinderella dress for siobhan will getting close to being done and the two new ones are still in rough stages. The pink one will be Marie Antionette style and the Creme one will be another Renaissance dress with a changeable front panel(hopefully). Good times Huh?

SO my Girl's are doing a cinderella skit for girl's Camp and so I am making a cinderella dress for it What do you think?

Tudor Dress Hand sewn

SO I have hand sewn the skirt to the bodice and shoulder straps to the bodice as well. I found the gold and red braid I laying around and decided it would make a perfect addition. My questions now are what color under skirt looks best. I have a gold one that is made up of a gold piece of crushed panne velvet overlaid with gold organza I also thought of just doing a red the same color as the dress. Any opinions?

Red Tudor: Sleeves and Bodice

So I did get some done today, The bodice and sleeves are all ready for hand sewing. The Overskirt is as well. I am so excited for this dress. The Sleeves will be detachable and I have plans for two more sets of sleeves that will go with this dress too.

New Project: Red Tudor Dress

So I know it's only an unfinished bodice but I have the overskirt sewn together as well but I bummed up my knee so I can't do as much. I made the front really stiff by putting a painting stir stick down the center, sewn in. The Dress will all be the dark red and I hope to do some really fun extensive beading all over the front bodice piece. I have a black and Creme one that I hope to start soon as well.

Projects from Yesterday and today...

I Made some waist cinchers and one bodice yesterday and today it's 11am and I have done three. Hopefully I can bust out the last four and some more waist cinchers by the end of the day. Mind you That the pictures are showing unlaced cinchers and corsets. Use the imagination.

I actually cut out I think eight or so even though I only got to three I can bust out the rest tomorrow. What do you think? Would you buy one? How much would you pay?

Ann, Duchess of Hartford

At last the Dress is Finished and this is me at the RenFaire this past weekend. I was concerned about the hem, that it would be too short or too long, well it was absolutely perfect. I have to say i am very pleased with the way it all turned out. My Friend Marilyn made the hat and Snood to match and I absolutely adorn it. Thanks everyone who helped or added something to my outfit.

This is the collar from the red dress at the bottom of my blog. I wanted to make it detachable and well I never thought of it with this dress but what do you think and I think I will go with the smaller trim.

Boleyn Dress update

I have the back all laced up now, the pearls and trim hand sewn on and the sleeves are attached but I am working on re enforcing them to make sure they stay secure. I think I have figured out the farthingale issue and hopefully will have it finished this week for the talent audition.
